We have a house built in the late 1950’s so the issues that come up require expertise in a range of plumbing problems – from water leaking below the kitchen sink (uber stinky) to installing a Toto toilet seat! Every plumber Meticulous has sent is super competent. Customer service is great from the moment you call – Tamara answers the Meticulous’ phone with such warmth, they let you know the time the plumber is coming, tell you when they are on the way, the plumber explains the issues with pictures and easy-to-understand words, right the moment the plumber leaves. Could not be better.
This visit, Edgar sorted out a bathtub clog connecting with the two sinks that he found. Because of three (or more) right angle turns in the under-house piping, the snake simply could not clear the long-in-the-making clog. He discovered the old metal clean out valve in the below-the-house space was the original and had not been removed in decades. It was rusted in place. Yikes. Edgar sawed off the old attachment, replaced it with a threaded plastic plumbing pipe and a new plastic removable cap for future use. More flowing … and clearing future clogs will be far easier.
